Here is a definitive list of all the women’s sport podcasts from Australia. And by ‘definitive’ I mean, let me know who I’ve missed in the comments.

How did I decide who was on the list you ask? If the podcast is Australian, or talking a lot about sport in Australia and features women talking about women’s sport and women talking about men’s sport… and the occasional man talking about women’s sport, it’s on the list.

This Sporting Wife
“This Sporting Wife came about because Shannon Byrne (ABC Grandstand) and Fiona Bollen (Swoop) just can’t get enough of sport. Not satisfied in finding themselves married to sport through work (they’re not actually married to sportspeople, just sport itself), they’ve decided to commit their spare time to it as well.” Who would be crazy enough to do that?! I have no idea what they’re talking about…

Hey Danielle, love this list – I’m looking forward to having a listen to a few on there that I haven’t yet heard!
One that I listen to that isn’t on the list is Basket Case (@TheCaseBNE on twitter). It is a weekly show on the WNBL hosted by a lady named Carol and her sidekick Helen. I really like this one because firstly there’s hardly any (actually I haven’t yet found any others to be honest) dedicated WNBL shows out there, and secondly Carol always has great interviews with the WNBL players which are again otherwise hard to come by.
Thanks Mimi, this one has been added to the list!
Hi Danielle,
I’d love to have a chat with you about my recent major sporting achievement.
Just recently I was selected in the firs ever Women’s Australian Gridiron Team. Not many people are aware we exist but we will be heading into the Women’s World Championship for the first time to compete against 5 other teams for the gold. It’s going to be held in Langley, Canada in June.
I’d love to have the opportunity to get the sport out there and my own personal journey to encourage and inspire others to pursue their passion and work hard towards their goals.
Hope to hear from you.
Kindest Regards,
Renee Targett

Hi Danielle!
We’ve got a new one, Sports Women Australia, based on my former radio show, The Hen House – giving voice to our up and coming & bonafide Aussie female sport stats and the female power brokers behind the scenes. Thanks for supporting women across this great platform ????
Tiffany
