Here is a definitive list of all the women’s sport podcasts from Australia. And by ‘definitive’ I mean, let me know who I’ve missed in the comments.
How did I decide who was on the list you ask? If the podcast is Australian, or talking a lot about sport in Australia and features women talking about women’s sport and women talking about men’s sport… and the occasional man talking about women’s sport, it’s on the list.
Ladies who Legspin

Giants Women Say
Fiona Lamb is a footy fan and, as a Sydneysider, she is naturally a Giants AFLW supporter. Fiona is passionate about women’s football as a platform for empowering women and engaging the public in reducing violence against women. She is also shining a light on Sydney based talent – the SWAFL veterans who got Sydney women’s AFL to where it is today, present players in the AFLW comp, and those players who are the future of the game in Sydney.

Ladies who League
Look I’m not a huge fan of men’s rugby league but I listen to Mary Konstantopoulos and Brittany Carter religiously for their insights into the game. They don’t just do league though and every week they interview a female athlete from all sorts of sports.

White Line Diva
White Line Diva is a unique women’s sport podcast. Don’t look to them for news on who’s been dropped or who’s fighting to be fit for the weekend. Yes, they talk women’s sport. And yes, they chat with some of the world’s best female athletes past and present.
But White Line Diva is about CHANGE more than chat.
Their goal is gender equality in sport (hazzah! That’s my goal too).
Hosted by journalist and author Angela Pippos and comedian Bobby Macumber – it’s also a laugh. And musical. You’ll just have to listen to see what I mean.

Follow Sports Like a Girl
“Follow Sports Like A Girl is a weekly podcast where Jocelyn Seip and Freya Logan talk about sports (mostly AFL) like girlz”
This Sporting Wife
“This Sporting Wife came about because Shannon Byrne (ABC Grandstand) and Fiona Bollen (Swoop) just can’t get enough of sport. Not satisfied in finding themselves married to sport through work (they’re not actually married to sportspeople, just sport itself), they’ve decided to commit their spare time to it as well.” Who would be crazy enough to do that?! I have no idea what they’re talking about…
